About Dr. Hicks

Dr. Hicks is the Senior Therapist for the Christian Family Counseling Center. He is a graduate of Georgia State University and Liberty University. Post graduate work was completed at the Focus on the Family campus in Colorado Springs, CO. He is licensed in the State of Florida as a Mental Health Counselor. He is an Addiction & Recovery Therapist, specializing in Sex Addiction Therapy.

Dr. Hicks’ credentials include Master Degree in Counseling Psychology, Certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a Mediator in both Family Law and Dependency Law. Dr. Hicks has served as a volunteer Guardian Ad Litem, assisting children in Dependency Court. He is a conference speaker and workshop leader, and is available for training sessions for groups on several topics, including co-parenting after a divorce and how to have a healthy step-family.

 

Dr. Hicks specializes in working with men with improper sexual behaviors, as well as conducting marriage counseling sessions.
