How To Find A Counselor
How do you find a counselor that is right for you?
What NOT to do. Do not call three numbers from the Yellow Pages, then set an appointment with the first one to call you back.
Talk to at least three licensed counselors, then pick the one that you believe you can best work with.
When you have selected a counselor, do not feel that you must stay with that person.
If the two of you do not seem to click, then look for another.
Counseling is personal and hard work. Select the best for YOU.
